As a result of the application and use of new technologies in the field of library and information, the department operates in the republic with the aim of creating modern library and information infrastructure and improving the service, enriching the fund, creating electronic libraries, ensuring their protection and security, and creating conditions for the development of the intellectual potential and knowledge level of the population. guides children's libraries by giving recommendations as a scientific methodical center. The creation of a center that methodically regulates the activities of children's libraries in the republic provides a uniform solution to the organizational and methodical problems of libraries serving children. Library departments, sections, ensures the uniformity of the contents of forms and methods of library-branches' activities. Improving the activity of children's departments of regional and city center libraries, automating library processes, creating and simultaneously organizing the use of electronic libraries, electronic catalogs, providing methodical assistance in the use of Internet search systems in the service process ensures the spread of advanced practice among regional libraries. It organizes seminars, workshops, master classes and trainings for the purpose of promoting the new types of services provided to readers and training personnel who will organize their use in the work process.
