General information about the department

The Department of Country Studies and Promotion of National Literature has been operating since 2009. In the department, a catalog and card file on country studies is created, bibliographic recommendations and publications are prepared. In addition to collecting information for creating an electronic database of Azerbaijani children's writers, preparing bibliographic personal indicators and recommended literature lists, it also promotes national children's literature, providing information services on country studies. In addition to the collection of materials related to country studies, literary samples considered valuable in terms of publication history, regardless of the year of publication, place of publication, and language, as well as children's literature published in the 1920s-1980s, are preserved under the name "Golden fund" in the department.
