General information about the department

The bookkeeper department has been operating since 1965. The department carries out work processes in order to ensure the appropriate arrangement of the library fund, the protection and efficient use of resources. Also, the function of the bookkeeping fund must meet important requirements:

- convenient use of the fund,

- the stability of the correction system,

- to be able to use the fund economically.

In addition to being the custodian of books, children's literature, serial publications and periodicals in all fields of science, the department ensures the use of the fund, the preservation of the literature of foreign and minority nations, and the samples of children's literature donated to the library. The department serves by creating optimal conditions for the formation, use and protection of the fund. Performs accounting of newly received literature, stock checking and selection and listing of multi-copy literature. It provides methodical assistance to the libraries of the republic on the organization, protection and use of the fund. The librarian's stock is reflected in the entire catalog system of the library. Books in the library fund are arranged systematically and alphabetically.
